Chinese EV maker BYD revealed the pre-sale prices of its new European passenger car range. The world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles and power batteries immediately introduces three full-electric passenger vehicles which will be delivered to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.

According to SupChina.com , the 10 largest EV producers in China based on domestic sales are: Tesla BYD SAIC Motor SAIC Volkswagen SAIC-GM-Wuling NIO Xpeng Li Auto WM Motor Geely. Last July, the Swedish automaker, which is owned by Chinese behemoth Geely, delayed production of the flagship Volvo EX90 electric SUV, citing software issues surrounding its LiDAR system. The larger of its two models comes with a 69 kWh battery and a 268 horsepower rear-mounted electric motor, with an EPA-estimated range of 275 miles.

Chinese EV brand Leapmotor, which entered into a binding agreement to sign a joint venture (JV) with the Amsterdam-based Stellantis, concluded the deal in a short span of 7 months on Tuesday. After that homologation, sales will start in September 2024. The brand will be sold across 200 dealerships in the region.
