Porsche expanding Charging Service in Europe; more than 49,000 charging points

Just a few months after the launch, Porsche is expanding its charging service for plug-in and electric vehicles ( earlier post ) by five countries and additional functions. A new feature offered by the Porsche Charging Service is a rating function. In Germany, the fee for using the Porsche Charging Service is €2.50 (US$2.86) per month.

Porsche Communication Management in Europe now features real-time traffic information

The active rear-axle steering that is available as an option for the 911 Carrera S is chassis technology adopted from the 911 Turbo and 911 GT3. Both engines have a displacement of three liters.

Google-backed Gravity claims fastest EV charging in America

Gravity, a New York-based EV charging startup backed by Google Ventures, claims to be rolling out the fastest chargers in the U.S. Charging is available seven days a week, with on-site attendants and a tap-and-pay interface, according to Gravity. Porsche has pointed to 400 kw charging in future models, for instance.
