GVR, which has over 500,000 installations globally, co-developed the turnkey Konect DC fast charging system with EV charging tech company SK Signet. Konect assists with site selection, funding options, and point-of-sale equipment. Konect’s system is available now in the US and Europe, with more markets to come.

The new LightningElectric zero-emissions package is available for Ford Transit as part of Ford’s eQVM program. The product will be available first on heavy-duty Transits with a 10,360-pound gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and will go on sale in early 2018. Charging station installation, in most regions, will be paid for by the individual or station owner, according to Coulomb. ChargePoint charging stations are available now for installation in all nine designated regional metropolitan areas of the US. The remaining stations will be installed by September 2011.
