I find out this morning from Ross Cunniff (who also recently completed the 914 AC kit), that he has had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with his CCPower DC-DC converter. Since I finished the first kit, Electro Auto didn't want to replace my unit because they wanted me to find out more information before I simply blew up another one.

Is an auto buff - and has owned cars of all sorts. Followed Google Maps to hit Hosur road - and from then on the Maps was switched off. The last 5% takes much more time - and so if you have another person behind you, you are not expected to do a full charge. We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty.

A very low cost EV is taking a golf cart transaxle or whole GC rear/seat and weld, ect a MC front end, frame, title to it, change the batteries from 6vdc to 12vdc to double the voltage and use larger dia VW Rabbit tires and you can have a nice 1- 3 person MC trike that goes 45-55mph and 50+ mile range.
