The motor adapter hub from Electro Auto still has 4 mils (thousands of an inch) runout, so I'll try to attack that next. There's no documentation on these pins, of course, but I'm happy that they're there to try out. Apparently this really isn't a lot for flywheels. Next Up: fixing the tiny (4mil) runout on the adapter hub.

Since I finished the first kit, Electro Auto didn't want to replace my unit because they wanted me to find out more information before I simply blew up another one. They didn't respond to my e-mails and their response to Electro Auto was along the lines of "there's nothing wrong with our DC-DC converters, it's your problem.

If you order a kit from Electro Auto, make sure you have patience in waiting. I received minimal support from ElectroAuto and received most of my documentation from other 914 AC kit members who passed it to me "on the sly." Most people want their Porsches to go fast, not long distance.

After studying the AC kit diagrams and reading the motor controller documentation from Azure Dynamics, I think I understand a little better what all these relays and terminal strips are for. The instructions call for two of the small black relays, but I only received one, so I ran out to Napa Auto parts today to get the second one.
