The new Ford Fusion will be the first non-hybrid Ford vehicle available in the US with Auto Start-Stop. Priced at an incremental $295, Auto Start-Stop can improve real-world fuel efficiency by 3.5%, and can pay for itself in fuel savings in less than 18 months, according to the company. It is a more durable 12V lead-acid battery.
