Decided to completely ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars in California from 2035, when all new vehicles must be an electric or plug-in hybrid. Drivers will still be able to continue to buy and sell pre-owned gas-powered cars. Ensuring access to charging stations is also key to ramping up electric vehicle sales.
