It seems like a great idea in theory - the US Government is backing up its calls for the public to move to green cars by buying some of its own. For example, 2,933 vehicles have been ordered from Chrysler despite the fact that the manufacturer does not include any hybrids in its line-up with the exception of the Durango/Aspen line.
