Over 10,000 Toyota drivers have signed a petition with over 110,000 signatures urging the Japanese car maker to embrace electrification efforts and stop “lobbying to prevent electric vehicle mandates and clean air laws.” It plans for only 14 percent of its total production to be electrified by the end of the decade.

We both know that 20% of California’s electric power is used just to move water from the North down here to the South and all the other places it goes. Among other things our electric use has been cut by over 50% in the last year. I now devote my full time to working on environmental and energy issues.
