General Motors CEO Mary Barra says the Detroit automaker is “absolutely” capable of catching Tesla’s EV market share in the United States by 2025. With the GMC Hummer EV, Cadillac Lyriq, and the most affordable versions of the Chevrolet Bolt set to be released, GM also plans to have at least 30 EVs in its lineup by 2025.

General Motors’ second all-electric pickup, the Chevrolet Silverado EV, will enter production in early 2023, new reports suggest. As previously mentioned, this will be GM’s second all-electric truck, following the GMC Hummer EV, which started production in early December and is slated for initial deliveries in Spring 2022.
