EU-funded project develops diesel engine for light helicopters

Comparison of flight scenarios demonstrated that the DELILAH optimal turbocharged diesel engine for light helicopters could potentially reduce fuel consumption by 50%. The engine is compatible with the use of alternative fuels such as 100% biofuel (B100), reducing dependence on fossil fuels and thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

UC Riverside team receives $2M to evaluate emission reduction benefits of hybrid bulldozer and excavator

Volvo Car led CO2 reductions among European automakers in 2010 due partly to diesel success
