Under a venture with the motto “From Road to Grid”, Audi is therefore currently working on a concept to convert old batteries into stationary energy stores. A first test setup located near Ingolstadt recently started supplying the grid. Market launch is scheduled to begin in 2017. The company hopes to launch AWC in 2017.
