Audi of America will launch its first 4G LTE service with the new Audi connect system in A3 models due Spring 2014. In a press conference at the 2013 Connected Car Expo at the Los Angeles Auto Show today, Audi officials detailed the services and long-term opportunities enabled by technology, which it had announced in January.

Kia Motors America (KMA) will work with Google to provide content and search-based solutions enabled by Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for the second-generation of the automaker’s UVO (“Your Voice”) eServices telematics system, introduced in November 2012 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Apple iOS6 compatibility is expected early in 2013.

Audi of America unveiled a new partnership with AT&T offering US Audi drivers in-vehicle 4G LTE data connection with the introduction of the 2015 A3 family. The announcement was made today at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show.

AT&T and Audi enabled the first-ever in-vehicle 4G LTE data connection in North America in 2014. Under the agreement, all 2016 models with Audi connect will be delivered to customers with an AT&T SIM card providing connectivity to the AT&T wireless network.
