The batteries can be recharged in six hours or to 80 per cent capacity in 30minutes using a fast charge system. The PROLOGUE puts the internal combustion engine up front and runs on diesel, while the RC uses petrol with the electric motor going at the back. It has four doors, four seats and a compact length of 3.48m.

The good news is that 2035 is the year suggested at the COP26 for all new car and vans in leading markets to be zero-emissions vehicles, and many manufacturers and governments have committed to it.
