BTG and GoodFuels exploring options for joint investment to convert pyrolysis oil to low-carbon fuel for ships

Biomass technology group BTG plans to set up a new high-tech technology company that can convert crude pyrolysis oil into diesel fuel suitable for the shipping sector. It will be the first refinery in the world for an advanced marine biofuel based on pyrolysis oil. The new facility will be operated by a new company named BTG-neXt.

Fleet of 23 road tanker trucks to trial NExBTL renewable diesel in Finland

Neste Oil’s NExBTL renewable diesel is to be trialed in day-to-day use in Finland by a fleet of road tanker trucks from the beginning of June onwards. The trial will last around a year and will involve 23 vehicles in Neste Oil livery operated by seven different companies.

Neste to Increase Buy of Malaysian Palm Oil for NExBTL Production
