General Motor eCrate conversion kits – by late 2021 GM plans to offer battery and motor kits for classic cars, allowing an easy EV conversion. But the open-top fun machine ain’t cheap! Peugeot e-208, e-2008 – at least one of Peugeot’s compact BEVs will arrive Down Under by 2022.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not.
