Sales of Ford Edge, which arrived on the market in late 2006, hit 400,000 this past weekend, the highest sales volume of any midsize crossover vehicle during the same period, according to Ford. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released the national greenhouse gas inventory, which finds that overall emissions during 2007 increased by 1.4% Among new vehicles sold annually, average fuel economy gradually declined from 1990 to 2004, reflecting substantial growth in sales of light-duty trucks relative to passenger cars.

Do they receive HOV access for their improved fuel economy and ultra low emissions? In fact in 6 of the states, diesel fuel is penalized with additional state taxes. So diesel fuel gets taxed twice or penalized twice at the federal and state level. This helps us to make better fuel economy and good emissions.
