Maybe it's because we covered a $300,000 Ford Mustang last night. Maybe it's because I've always loved the looks of this generation Ford GT -- I've never driven one. Whatever the reason, today I bring you this California-based 2005 Ford GT. Or maybe it's because I am feeling saucy on a summer Friday.

The drag cars are an offshoot of the kits that ROUSH Performance uses to convert gasoline-powered Ford pickups and vans to run on propane. The first car being developed is a 2005 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang which will be driven by Donnie Bowles and expected to be testing in mid-November.
