In October, a Prins technology paper presented at the 2013 Global Technology Conference (GTC) in London “Development of Dual Fuel technology: Prins Dieselblend-2.0 million tonnes in 2013—an increase of 9.4 Mt, or 57%, over the 2003 level. Larger scale allows Westport and Prins to capture cost efficiencies.

The Nissan Energy Saving Collaboration (NESCO) conducts annual surveys (starting 2003 in Japan and 2013 in Europe, Mexico and China) to measure energy loss at Nissan plants in order to develop ongoing new energy-saving countermeasures. In all, the use of clean energies accounted for 68% of the production at the Aguascalientes A1 Plant.

The California Energy Commission unanimously adopted the 2013-2014 Investment Plan Update to support the development and use of green vehicles and alternative fuels. These charging sites will be located at 7-Eleven convenience stores, and will provide a charging network in Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties.

As of 4 July 2013, Tesla Motors reported that 2,100+ Roadsters have been driven more than 35 million miles. The Roadster has two primary charge modes: range and standard.
