Having previously only been available in four states, the Honda Civic GX natural gas powered vehicle is set to make a significant breakthrough when a new model is released in the autumn. According to a report by Japanese business daily The Nikkei, the vehicle will be marketed across the USA.

Golden West K-9 received the keys to three natural gas powered Honda Civic GX patrol cars for $26,000 each - but each came with a $4,000 Federal funded rebate. Two of the new cars will be on patrol around the clock while the third will run for 16 hours a day.
