Norway's EV Sales Beats the Cold. In 2021, 65% of all passenger vehicle sales were battery electric an additional 22% were plug-in hybrid. EV sales are expected to surpass ICE vehicle sales by 2025. Oregon is offering up to $7,500 in cash rebates for households that buy an EV and make between $51,000 and $251,000.

In place of a spare tire, the Prius Plug-in carries a tire-sealing kit and inflator. The Prius Plug-in Hybrid will be on sale in 14 launch states beginning this October through Toyota’s Online Order System at www.toyota.com. The Prius Plug-in reduced vehicle weight in other areas as well. Vehicle deliveries begin in Spring 2012.
