The company, which offers short-term rentals of the all-electric Mega e-City from its base in Brixton, says that the petrol and diesel price hikes during the summer, and the government fuel duty increase in September, have made people look again at the cost of motoring by traditional means. The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
