Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) is the concept of using stored energy in a plug-in hybrids (or electric cars) battery to send power to the electrical grid when necessary. I love the idea of powering my car from solar power. Whats Vehicle-to-Grid and why would I like it? How about putting PV cells on the roof of a PHEV?

E-Flex is technically a hybrid with two power units, but unlike the ToyotaPrius, Honda Insight and various Lexus models, the engine in the Volt doesnot drive the wheels, it simply acts as an emergency generator to rechargethe batteries.
