Honda Motor Company will introduce a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and a new plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) to the US market in 2012, said President & CEO Takanobu Ito in his mid-year address in Tokyo, Japan. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. While Id been harsh on the need for outside recharge stations in the past, actually an intermediate charge may extend battery life. market b y the end of 2009. Then I recall that my laptop batteries barely ever last four years. Does that bother you?
