The rules cover larger battery charger systems; small battery charger systems; inductive charger systems; and battery backup and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), both consumer and non-consumer.

An off-grid energy system basically consists of just four key components: 1) a battery to store energy; 2) one or more renewable energy sources (e.g. solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric turbines); 3) an appropriate DC-input charger for said source; and 4) a DC-to-AC inverter to power the house, EV charger, well pump, etc.

If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal.
