The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. Toyota still has not made any money on the Prius. Electric cars a still a joke.

Mr. Kulongoski wants to make Oregon the go-to state for electric vehicle production. Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
