Prius hybrid. and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. Great Wall Motor Co., GM plans to launch the Volt in China in 2011. plans to launch by the end of next year.

They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. We have oil! Electric cars a still a joke.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. Many of the first Prius hybrids that were released are still running strong on their NiMH batteries after 100,000+ miles.
