The yet-to-be-named Buick crossover will launch in late 2010, offering a family of fuel-efficient direct-injected gasoline engines, followed in 2011 by the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model.

On January 28 GM announced that it plans (aspires) to exclusively offer electric vehicles by 2035, ending production of its cars, trucks and SUVs with diesel- and gasoline-powered engines. GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Good examples of all-new electric cars are the Nissan Leaf battery-electric and the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid , which both debuted in 2010 as 2011 models. GM, shifting focus to pure EVs, built the last Volt on February 19, 2019. I’m hoping for the latter.
