Saturn will remain in operation for the next several years, through the end of the planned lifecycle for all Saturn products. In the interim, if Saturn retailers or other investors present a plan that would allow a spin-off or sale of Saturn Distribution Corporation, GM would be open to any such possibility.

The electrical plug-in station at work has been lonely over the past few months and I'll be psyched to get the car back on the road. About a month ago, I sold my old '94 gasoline Saturn wagon and purchased an '03 Subaru Outback. With gas prices going up, I'm even more eager to fire up the 914. Cheers, Tim.

The Saturn version of the two-mode plug-in hybrid at the Milford Proving Grounds. The Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle Concept uses the Voltec platform. Non-core brand sales declined when compared with June as Pontiac dipped 7%; Saturn was down 21%, and HUMMER and Saab declined 26%. Some highlights: The all-new redesigned Prius mid-size gas-electric hybrid posted best-ever July sales of 19,173 units, up 29.7% GMC sales increased 8%, led by Sierra, Canyon and Yukon XL.

The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles.
