Honda beat everybody to the production gasoline-electric hybrid game in the United States, putting the Insight in showrooms in 1999. Toyota followed with the Prius a year later, but it took GM until 2006 to introduce its first true gasoline-electric hybrid here. gallon gas in order to recoup its cost over the pure-gazzoline version.

My brand new silver all-electric Tesla Roadster sportscar (#23) arrived by truck in Los Angeles yesterday. It’s been five years since my last silver all electric sports car, a GM EV1, was infamously destroyed. America’s first ground-up design pure electric sportscar since the EV1 arrives again. What a beauty.

So youll have a cleaner, cheaper, quieter car for your local travel, and the gas tank is always there should you need to drive longer distances.

Fifty years ago, on 14 May 1973, a modified Saturn V rocket launched from the Kennedy Space Center carrying Skylab, the United States’ first space station. The damaged solar panels could not generate enough electricity to power the space station. Skylab 3 included Owen Garriott, the first electrical engineer in Space.
