When the juice from the larger pack is used up, Spirit reverts back to driving like a regular Prius hybrid.This translates into gas mileage of up to 100 miles per gallon, Asher said.

A full charge using the Level 1 charging cord took just under 17 hours, while Level 2 charging took about two and a half hours.
