XL Hybrids announced its XL3 Hybrid Electric Drive System will be installed in 52 vehicles that serve five Massachusetts state agency fleets. The upgrades were made possible by support from the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).

National Fleet Hybrids received a demonstration bus with the Lightning Hybrids system installed, a Ford E-450 shuttle bus, last week. It is available for test drives and was showcased at the Massachusetts Clean Cities Coalition meeting on 13 June in Boston at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources.
