Lo and behold, we spy two Coulomb J-plug/120V units, one with a plug-in Prius conversion plugged in. Furious phone calls during the event couldn'tget the machine to allow the juice to flow after waving the Coulomb Card. I waved my Coulomb card only to find the unit gave us a fault and wouldn't release the J-plug.

Anyway, after the Renew America Roadtrip with the Tesla run from New York to California, and after returning to Home Sweet Bisbee, it was time to get into the thinking mode of a three-in-one EVent back with the Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, DC. Charlie will be joined by veteran EV cross-country driver, Jerry Asher.

The Magneto was shown off and cliniced at the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari, an off-road event and gathering of the 4×4 faithful.

His garage currently houses, apart from the e2o, a Toyota Prius and an Isuzu pickup. I remember reading about an Air India event to honour the frequent flyer who had the most miles under his belt. He went on to own a Rover 2000, which was the most handsome looking car of its time. He also owned a MG eZS for a year.

Therefore, until we get quick-charge batteries -- based on new breakthroughs, Ill take a WAG and estimate that we will have real 5-minute quick-charge batteries in perhaps 10 years -- we are likely to get our juice mostly from our home chargers.
