As part of several technology demonstration projects under study, Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) has purchased six Coulomb Technologies electric vehicle charging stations from Carbon Day Automotive, Chicago, Ill. Vehicle fleets across the United States are transitioning from internal combustion engine (ICE) to electric vehicles, and that includes school bus fleets. Especially in cities, children may be unable to escape harmful vehicle fumes. Eliminating ICE buses will go a long way toward making schools healthier for students.
