And yet, what about recharging? Can I get from Pittsburgh to New York's Hudson Valley—a trip I make a dozen times a year? John, I know you have a place in New York's Catskill Mountains, just down the ridgeline from the Hudson Valley, so you're sympathetic to my plight. That means I'd have to recharge at least once.

Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse.
