Porsche partnering with A123 Systems on energy storage for 919 Hybrid Le Mans prototype

Porsche announced that A123 Systems is its technology partner for the development of the energy storage system for the 919 Hybrid LMP1 Le Mans prototype. Porsche also announced Schaeffler Group and Veltins brewery as Official Partners of the works team for the return to the World Endurance Championship (WEC).
