Dearman’s liquid nitrogen-powered engine ( earlier post ) is zero emission. The technology will replace diesel-powered secondary engines used to power (TRUs), which are used to keep food cold on the road. Because the Dearman TRU is powered by expansion rather than internal combustion, it is also markedly quieter than a diesel unit.

If fuel is also injected, the engine responds quickly. The compressed air supply also allows extreme downsizing.
