Ford has tripled to more than 200 the number of US dealers certified to sell its lineup of plug-in electrified vehicles, including the new C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid that is on sale now and delivers the equivalent of 105 mpg combined in electric mode. Ford recently began production of the C-MAX Energi at its Michigan Assembly Plant.

What i believe is that, the engineers can examine the logs leading to the fire and try to understand from the code and understand which parameters went haywire in the events leading to the fire. The accident vehicle has been brought to our concerned dealer service station for further analysis. But here is the difference.
