Toyota has reduced the MSRP on the 2014 Prius Plug-in Hybrid by more than $2,000, making the starting MSRP $29,990 (excluding dealer preparation and handling, DPH). Following the launch of the Soul EV ( earlier post ) late last year in California, along with sales beginning in Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii earlier this year, Kia Motors America (KMA) is expanding availability of its fully charged urban runabout into four new states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland.

The all-electric CODA Sedan is capable of up to 120 miles of all-season range based on US06 (aggressive driving/high speed test) and LA4/UDDS (city driving) EPA tests. CODA also currently plans to begin selling vehicles in Hawaii in the third quarter of 2011, where the car will be eligible for a $4,500 tax rebate offered in the state.
