High-voltage DC current is more dangerous and harder to interrupt than the comparatively sedate 48 volts used in smaller vehicles. Also, it’s a maintenance issue. For those vehicles, maintenance is key. So maintenance and uptime is really key and electric vehicles are better for that in this market. It’s a lot of power.
