Netherlands-based Rocsys makes robotic devices that allow EVs to be charged without human intervention (see the feature in our January/February 2020 issue). Since our last conversation with Mr. Bouman, fleet electrification has taken off in a big way, and the complexities involved in fleet charging have come into focus.

Near the end of our conversation, I ask Wang about the company name. Wang signed an agreement last year with Autobinck, a Dutch dealer group, to distribute its cars in the Netherlands and five Eastern European countries. Ted Kulongoski arrived to test-drive an electric car and urge the company to import through the port of Portland.
