Purpose-built electric bikes and e-bike conversions using hub-motors are now commonplace. That got me thinking, how hard would it be, and how much would it cost, to do a simple conversion now? With windows rolled down, conversations do happen. The other guy who had a conversation was not so pleasant. This should be able to juice up the battery overnight. (90 The charger has been shifted to a corner location - and the security guys helped us park and connect. Fast chargers are a must in bigger EVs.

Reply Neutral Haikibutsu @ Apr 19th 2009 4:31PM It would be better if there was a 7 point or more: 3 for power and ground, and 4 for a USB-like connection to tell you things like car status, power, etc. Reply Highly Ranked Shyam D @ Apr 19th 2009 4:34PM Such data connections could easily be relegated to a wireless connection.
