Mercedes-Benz has delivered the first two of a total order of eight Mercedes-Benz Citaro G BlueTec Hybrid ( earlier post ) buses to the Dresden (Germany) Transport Company. The articulated Citaro series hybrid uses a downsized diesel engine as the genset to provide power for a lithium-ion battery pack located on the roof.
