The companies plan to develop demonstrator plants in several countries in the region, namely Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar. It has been specifically designed to be small, lightweight and possible to be mass produced. We are delighted to be partnering with the CCC to open this new market. Sasol currently uses aerobic microbes to treat GTL and coal-to-liquids (CTL) effluents in ORYX GTL, Qatar and Synfuels, Secunda facilities. We will now continue to explore and develop this technology further with the potential for commercial application to our future GTL facilities.

The GE9X is the most fuel-efficient engine GE has ever produced on a per-pounds-of-thrust basis, designed to achieve 10% better SFC than the GE90-115B-powered 777-300ER and 5% better SFC than any other twin-aisle engine in 2020.
