We then switched to Octopus energy as they seemed to understand Smart meters and were more than happy to install a 2nd generation smart meter that provided night rates. . Apparently in total this equates to a saving of 715 KG of coal burning and a saving of 1.8

The vision is fuelled by the fear of climate change and the need to find green alternatives to dirty coal, unpopular nuclear power and unreliable gas imports from Russia.
