I knew I wanted something for her that was cheap to maintain, had a reliable automatic transmission, came with cruise control, AC. It is something very cheap to fix and to inspect. We can only think of driving a plug-in or a fully electric car as the next one if one of the Priuses has to go.

It is important to realize that a fuel cell car is actually an electric car. The Honda FCX Clarity FCEV and the Toyota Mirai FCEV, both use an electric drive motor and a battery pack. So, fuel cell cars have some of the advantages of pure fully electric cars.

Together with Electric Mobility Netherlands (Elmonet) Urgenda tries to stimulate large-scale introduction of (non-converted) EVs on the Dutch roads. Large-scale, to them, means one million EVs by 2020, starting with five hundred fully electric Th!nk People ask me can I go for a round? And the vehicles function well.

I think electric cars are the furture and this unit has some real world experience. Still, for all the faults, this is a very promising vehicle.
