Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with Telsa Motors to develop the electric B-Class.

The Sonata Plug-in Hybrid will be distributed in California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont, but customers in any of the other states can custom order the vehicle at their local Hyundai dealer. The transmission uses an electric oil pump, which helps improve efficiency.

Scheduled to go on sale in the third quarter of 2014, the Soul EV will be Kia’s first battery-electric car sold in the US. Kia expects the pack to support a range of approximately 80-100 miles (129-161 km) of real-world driving on a full charge. The Soul EV charges at any standard 120v outlet or with a conventional 240v EV charger.

kWh Li-ion pack enabling an electric range of up to 15 miles (24 km) at speeds of up to 62 mph (100 km/h), according to Toyota. Maximum electric range is 15 miles. A charge timer allows you to set charge start and finish time. The result is a shorter distance from the charge port to the charger/battery, reducing weight.
