Plug In America, along with the Electric Vehicle Association and the Sierra Club , joined the effort and the first National Plug In Day was held on October 16th, 2011. They’re better for the environment, even when accounting for their manufacturing carbon emissions and when using electricity from coal plants.

You think HE’s working very hard to end our nation’s sick addiction to carbon based fuels that kill people and destroy our civilization? I’m thinking he likes our carbon-based economy just the way it is. I think the hefty carbon tax we’ll be levying on Exxon/Mobil can pay for the whole thing.

The Trump administration attempted to eliminate the tax credit for electric vehicles in the original version of their 2020 budget, though the provision never passed. Now, the Washington Post reports that it had sources in a meeting between Trump and oil executives in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club last month.

It happened on October 20 and I was there in-person, sitting in the front row with Torrance Democratic Club President, Rick Wagner, when Furey practically soiled himself in his seat, so enthusiastic and praise-filled was his shameless ballwashing of Exxon as our great neighbor who contributes to the health and well-being of our community.
