It’s a bit of a shame that I didn’t have a chance to take the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R I tested off road. Instead, I struggled to make this beast fit into urban parking spaces and alleyways while seemingly watching the fuel gauge march from full to empty just during the amount of time it takes to be stopped at a red light.

This fuel economy is encouraging, but it will take a wide open road with little traffic and lots of patience to equal it. If fuel economy is your primary focus and you can live without high performance, the standard turbocharged 2.3L This car begs to be driven with great elan , so real world driving will use more fuel.
