Turbo ecoFLEX natural gas version has been fitted with gas tanks made of composite material including carbon fiber. CO 2 emissions were reduced to 129 g/km (predecessor: 139 g/km). Rather than using conventional steel gas cylinders, the engineers opted for advanced composite material including carbon fiber.

SEAT, a member of the Volkswagen Group, continues to spearhead the introduction of compressed natural gas (CNG) technology, giving customers the widest choice of vehicles that are cleaner, more sustainable and offer even greater efficiency. A CNG vehicle reduces CO 2 emissions by about 25% compared to a gasoline-driven equivalent.
